World Artists Experience is launching their 15th Season continuing the goal of "Building bridges between people and cultures around the world".
Plans for this coming year include a presentation on the Egyptian Pyramids and a return visit by The Trio Lennon from Italy in September. In October, there will be a music ensemble from Eygpt and a violin and piano ensemble from Bulgaria. November will include a Mongolian musical group, a renowned Chinese calligrapher, and a presention on Egyptian pharaohs and mummies. During February and March, WAE in cooperation with the State of Maryland, will continue its Bridges to the World International Film Festival in six Maryland communities.
The Annual Chinese New Year, a popular event for the whole family, is scheduled for February. In the Spring watch for the "Bridges to the World Student Writing Project" for children in grades 3-12, as well as Cultural Immersion Days with activities in Washington D.C.
Communities here are enriched and become even stronger when they dialogue with people from around the world. WAE hopes to develop mutual understanding among peoples.

Beginning the 15th Season for World Artists Experiences will be the six-member musical group GranMah from Mozambique. GranMah is a Dub Raggae Fusion band. This performance is free on Monday, July 16, 7pm at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St., Annapolis, Maryland.
