Visit Beijing Artist Yang Huizi in her Art Studio
Meet Master Huizi: teaches in the College of Art in Beijing. Her education includes: PhD Chinese National School of Art, Masters of Arts at New Media and School of New Media, Art and Design in Beijing. Her artistic skills are: Paper Cutting, Wax Dying, Tie Dye, Silk Figures, etc. She has received many teaching achievements and received numerous artistic awards and achievements. As well, she has published numerous articles.
PREPARE before your visit!! Bring red paper (rice paper or a light weight paper; xuan paper is best)—recommended size is a square with 35 cm side length; Scissors (sharp are best! small ones for children fine); White Cardboard larger than paper cut paper….used to preserve the paper cut; Wooden 2 B Pencil; Iron to press paper.
